Valerie Baber

An adventurous free spirit and intense curiosity about the world keeps me from being in one place for too long. My nomadic tendencies could have been developed early in life when my military father kept me moving every few years, or it could just be the Cancerian birthright bestowed to me by the stars of a late June night.

I became independent at 19 years old and defiantly set out to Hollywood to either find myself or lose myself. I did a lot of both. Between modeling, my work for Playboy TV and a few other cinematic experiences I am desperately trying to forget, I have traveled the world and learned a lot about people, places, Dutch fetishists, and myself. I have been blessed with some fascinating and surreal experiences that now make entertaining (although often inappropriate) cocktail party conversation.

Some irrelevant facts:
My Chinese sign is monkey, which represents me well for a number of reasons. Thank heavens for laser hair removal (which I fully endorse and would gladly take a modeling job for).

I am not Chinese. However, I am interested in Asian culture and I honor it with a mini zen garden that sits peacefully on my desk top.

I dig red doors.

I like red in general and my favorite pair of shoes are a deep shade of red. They’re patent leather and go well with my favorite purse. When I wear them together, I feel unique and intriguing. I am bound to get compliments when wearing these items.

I like compliments.

I also like mint chocolate chip ice cream.

My current adventures put me back in the classroom where I try hard to focus on honing my skills as a writer and entrepreneur. However, I frequently get lost in thought reflecting on the days when I posed in my underwear while stretched out on cars and wondered why people didn’t take me seriously. I also get lost in daydreams about Kal Penn, that guy on the real estate advertisement that I drive by nearly every day, and how I am going to make a difference when I become empress.
